About

Bill & Kathy Morton

Our passion is to help marriages become strong and healthy.  Have you heard the expression, “from our pain, comes our passion?”  The pain of my first marriage is still fresh after 20 years.  My first marriage was painful for me, my wife and our children.  The effects impact our lives to this day.

I was unprepared to be a husband, or a father.  That became apparent six years into my second marriage.  But in 2000 my life was turned upside down as I began to learn biblical principles that would restore my marriage beyond anything I could imagine!  I remember thinking, “why have I never heard this before?”  The gap between how I thought life and marriage worked and how it really worked was so big, so different, that I decided to spend the rest of my life helping others avoid the pain of divorce and find the joy in marriage.  I’m still on that journey!

The force behind this process has been my relationship with Intimate Life Ministries out of Austin, TX.  The message I heard from them in 2001 has been validated time and time again!  I believe this is because they are fundamental truths from the Word of God.

My wife and I have attended River Pointe Church in Richmond, TX for 13 years.  We’ve taught 4th & 5th grade Sunday School and led marriage classes.  I worked for Intimate Life Ministries for over 5 years; teaching, coaching and leading small groups with hundreds of men.  I have seen lives changed as they encountered the power of God’s truth in their lives.

In my quest to become effective in helping others I’ve become a Certified Christian Counselor and obtained a Bachelor in Christian Counseling.  I have been trained in the Intimacy Therapy model of counseling and I am a trained Facilitator for the Prepare/Enrich.
